Black tailed jackrabbit!

We went out to cottonwood springs tonight for some camping and deep-
sky observing with our 18" UC obsession telescope. Unfortunately all
the campground spots were full, so we set up in the parking lot. Then
it started clouding up after midnight, so we decided to pack up and
leave. Here I am at the ranger station at the cottonwood entrance by a
neat sign with all the desert animals, including the black tailed
jackrabbit! I like camping, observing, and jackrabbits!

Crazy bird Part 2 - they're back!

Here I am today - there are two crazy birds that keep flying into and hitting the the window. One of them even ventured inside and jumped up on the couch! You can see him on the pillow in the background!

Caterpiller!

Whoa! There is a creature on my face! Don't worry - it is just a
friendly caterpiller. And i will probably take a batg today. We went
to the Santa rosa plateau again today and they are everywhere! I like
caterpiller creatures.

new teacup

Hi everyone - went to starbucks today and got some new mugs for tea
and hot chocolate. There was a really cool cup that was my sized and
it had a cool tree on it, too. I like my new cup.

Violet!

Hi everyone! Here I am with my new friend, violet. We both have a lot
in common - large ears, an interest in observing, and most importantly
- we are both bunnies! I like my new friend. Especially when violet's
flashes cool lights!

Another rainbow

Hi everyone! Here I am outside our condo complex with another rainbow
in the background. It has been rainy here a lot lately. Rainbows are
rare here because it never rains, so I am excited! I get to observe a
lot of clouds these days:-)

Gondola Ride

Spent the day with Anne, Joe, Amy, Alan, & Jon snowboarding in
mammoth. Here I am riding the gondola up to the top of the mountain.
In the background is the main lodge. That is where Anne and Joe met
almost eleven years ago. I love this place!

Lib Tech

Anne & Joe's sister, Amy, got Joe a new snowboard today! Here i am
with the new lib tech phoenix board. This is really a cool board! We
are having a great time here with the mountains, trees, and snow!

DOMO!

Here I am with my new friend, Domo! Don't worry about me - he might
look scary, but he is a gentle creature, like me:-) We have a lot in
common. We are both fluffy, pink, and we love to observe. I like domo.

Carol's place

Hi everyone - went with Anne to get her hair cut this morning. Here I
am outside of the place Anne's stylist, Carol, works in Redlands. It
is another sunny and warm winter day in California. The sunshine is
nice and warm. Too bad I couldn't send some to our family back on
Wisconsin and Chicago - it was -34 degrees there yesterday!

Paul & Angie's place

Here I am at Paul and Angie's place in Carlsbad. Many of the colors match me very well. Here I am sitting on their cool mantle. I like their house - especially their bathroom. They have a really cool sink. We all went to the apple store together and bought Angie a new computer. It was a fun adventure!

Lake Perris

Went to lake perris with Anne today. I got to do some great observing
of the lake and lake creatures while Anne ran around the lake. It was
cold today! Good thing i have a warm coat and some warm sunshine! I
like it here.

Warm sunshine

After a cold night of viewing the night sky with our cool 18" UC
Obsession telescope, we were greeted with some warm sunshine Monday
morning. Here i am with our campsite in the background. We saw all
kinds of cool things - my favorite was Saturn with it's rings edge on.
We called it a night at 3 am and slept in our cool tent. I like
telescopes and camping - even if it is 30 degrees out!

Santa rosa plateau

Hi - went to Santa rosa plateau with anne today for a run and some
observing. It rained a lot earlier this week, so the vernal pools have
filled up. There are all kinds of birds and creatures hanging out
there. Neat high clouds around, too. Kinda reminds me of Wisconsin. I
like this place.

Snow on Box Springs!

Hi world! Here I am on our balcony where I usually do my daily
observing. Would you believe there is snow all over the top of the
mountain? What a beautiful sight! It is so nice outside! Reminds me of
wisconsin....I like mountains and I love snow!

Yuma, AZ

Hi everyone - we went to Yuma today to talk to a gentleman about
purchasing some property he owns in Wisconsin. Here I am at an
inspection stop coming back in to California. We were there for about
five hours... It was a nice cloudy day. It even rained for a little
while. I like rain in the desert.

here I am on the plane heading back to California. there was a cool
bunny on the advertisement on the airplane and I thought it was cool.

REI - midwest style

hi all - here I am in Minnesota. we just landed and uncle al, joe, anne, and I went to the REI store here in Minneapolis. it is one of the largest stores in the country - puts the ones in socal to shame! joe made a cool, old fashioned picture of me outside of the store. there were also some squirrel creatures hanging out outside the store. i like squirrel creatures.

bunnies!

Here I am in the Denver airport. As we were walking down the terminal,
we came across a bunch of bunnies representing frontier airlines. What
a nice surprise!

Denver

Going on a quick trip to Wisconsin. Here I am flying into Denver. It
is so white and bright with the mountains in the background you can
hardly see me. You can still see my ears, though.

Mt. Rubidoux

Hi everyone! Got up this morning and went to Mt. Rubidoux with Anne.
It was pretty hot for a November morning - almost 85! It is nice in
the car in the filtered sunlight.

1,600 miles!

That's a long way to go in a few days. Back home after quite a quick
trip. I don't know what it is about riding in a car all day that makes
me so tired. It sure is nice to kick back in my favorite place and
watch the weather channel all day!

Hoover dam!

Here I am on the last day of our mini-vacation/drive around the
southwest USA. We are driving over the Hoover dam on our way to las
vegas. The water level is pretty low right now. They are building a
HUGE high road to the south of the dam right now. It is almost as
impressive as the dam itself! I like dams.

London bridge is not falling down

hi everyone - we stayed in lake havasu last night. here I am in
downtown lake havasu at the big attraction, the London bridge. it was
originally built in England in 1831 and moved block by block here in
1968. it was about $2.4 million and another $4.5 mil to transport and
rebuilt it. there are cool fishes, minnows, and ducks in the Colorado
river. the town is kinda odd, but bridges are always neat.

bunny cave

here I am, still at the palm springs aerial tramway. here is a cool
bunny cave at the base of a large tree that therese noticed. I wonder
if any other bunnies have lived here?

Palm springs aerial tramway

here I am at the palm springs aerial tramway visitor center. this is a
very neat place! the rocks are large and interesting. the buildings
were built a long time ago, but still look cool and modern. I really
like the font on the sign, too.

do not feed the wildlife

here I am at the top of the palm springs aerial tramway. you are not
supposed to feed the wildlife. you can feed me, though! I'm a
domesticated bunny!

wawona tunnel

here I am going through the wawona tunnel. yosemite just ahead! I
can't imagine how they built tunnels - especially many years ago. I
like tunnels.

yosemite!

here I am in yosemite! it is very Halloween-like here today. it is
rainy and foggy. this is the entrance to the valley after wawona
tunnel. it is raining on me right now, but it is ok - we got back in
the car very fast. I like it here.

boo!!!

happy Halloweenie everyone! just got my costume for this year. I'm
hanging out with a few other ghosts - can you tell which one is me? I
love Halloweenie!

cookin supper

here I am in the kitchen helping Anne cook supper. it is fun to hang
out in our kitchen. you can see the reflection of our cool crystal
chandelier in the cabinet.

nice midwestern day

here I am in Orland Hills, enjoying a little sunshine and fresh air
(there isn't much of the fresh air in CA:-). it is another beautiful
day here - 69 degrees with big puffy clouds in the sky. here i am with
cool scatteted sunlight shining on me on the picnic table. clouds are
building and we should have a rain shower tonight. we leave to fly
back to CA tomorrow morning, so I am going to enjoy the weather while
I still can.

lion

don't worry - he is a friendly lion! he is the Merrillan lions club's
drinking fountion downtown. it is raining outside today, which is cool
because it never rains in California. it helps things grow so the
bunnies here has lots of food to eat. heading to Chicago this morning.

parade!

here I am at the parade for the Merrillan Labor Day celebration. behind me is a cool American flag and the Merrillan branch of the Jackson County Bank. it is very hot today, but it is still fun to hang out with family and enjoy some candy!

new friend

here I am in Merrillan with my new friend, buster. he is uncle al's doggie. here we are chillin together in grandpa al's easy chair.

anna banana

on a trip to the Midwest to see family and work on a home planning for
our family. just arrived at midway airport in Chicago. here I am by an
advertisement for new m&ms. it is neat because they used to call Anne
"anna banana" when she was little. cool.

waffles and a cool breeze

it is very hot today in riverside! anne and I decided to go up to lake
arrowhead where it was cooler. we also got to drive the A3 on the
curvy mountain roads. but it was still warm...we got a nice spot in
the shade and had some waffles at the Belgium waffle works - yummy!

you can also see some boats. it is nice up here. I like waffles!

torrey pines state reserve

came down to san diego with anne today. I did some observing while she
went for a run. here I am, with the ocean and some clouds moving in,
in the background. nice day.

our tent

thought you'd like to see my home away from home for the last few
nights. it is quite comfortable, warm, and cozy! I'm glad anne and
joe shared this fun experience with me.

campsite

here I am chillin with our telescope in our campsite. you can see our
car and our tent in the background. it is nice out here in nature - I
like camping.

one lane road

stayed at grandview campground to use our telescope last night. we are
heading down to bishop for some grub. check out the crazy one lane
road with steep roadsides we are on.

Cottonwood sunset

here I am in our new Audi A3 @ cottonwood springs campground in Joshua
tree national park. we came out to use our new obsession telescope for
the first time. cool shot of me in the setting sun!

fireworks!

here I am in riverside looking to the northwest on independence day.
you can see about 12 different shows at any one time from here! just
to the side of my ear you can see a cool red firework. I like
fireworks! and I'm proud to be an American bunny!

hot, hot, hot!

it is very hot in southern California today! after the long trip, a
took a cool and refreshing bath today. here I am drying off. i have
regained my pink and white coloration and match the pink towel. it is
nice and cool in our condo.

we made it!

made it back to riverside Wednesday night. here I am resting after all
the fun hours and days of observing! I was so tried, I did not have
time to post this until just now. what a great trip! I hope we do it
again someday!

sedona

here I am on the south side of Sedona with some neat red rocks in the
background. there are several interesting rock formations in the
vicinity. I like it here, but it is extremely hot! there could be some
hardy bunnies that live around here.

spaz juice

we are leaving the meteor crater now and on the way to Sedona. found a
cool beverage called spaz juice with a cool bunny on the can. it is
pretty good - blue raspberry.

Philip Johnson window

here I am outside of the meteor crater visitor center. if you look up
above my ears, you will see a "window" that was specifically designed
by the architect, Philip Johnson. it frames a great view of the
mountain north of flagstaff from the other side. I'll post a picture
from the other side later. Philip Johnson designed a bunch of cool
modern buildings - check out his glass house if you have time. I like
Philip Johnson.
